Between the high-energy worlds of RJing, anchoring, and acting in hits like Sapnon Ki Chhalaang and Saavi Ki Sawari, Devanggana Chauhan stays rooted through a secret weapon: spirituality. For her, “These inner journeys aren’t just a ritual—they are the ultimate “reset button” that keeps her grounded in the fast-paced glam of showbiz.”
Speaking about her first experience seeing a grand statue of Lord Shiva, she shared, “I am a big devotee of Shiva and Krishna, but when I saw the Statue of Belief (Vishwas Swaroopam) in Rajasthan, I literally got goosebumps. It was just mesmerizing seeing the 369 ft tall Shiva right in front of me.”

Spiritual journeys are more than just travel for Devanggana Chauhan
For Devanggana, spiritual journeys are more than just travel. “I enjoy my spiritual trips and I often visit Ujjain Mahakal and Jaipur Govind Dev Ji and be part of the mangla aarti. Whenever I get an opportunity, I would love to take all the spiritual trips together. I am a very spiritual person and it connects me to divine energy. It rejuvenates me and gives me so much of an energy boost,” she said.
She believes such experiences are crucial in today’s hectic lifestyle. “Such places have a divine energy which gives you a spiritual retreat. Your heart and chakras feel aligned and energies get balanced. I never get negative thoughts or tension when I go on such trips. It reminds us to live in the moment and it is really important to take such trips,” she explained.
Recalling the most memorable part of her recent journey, Devanggana revealed it was completely unplanned. “The most memorable part was that it was impromptu. As I landed in Udaipur and was scheduled to go to Beawar, which is three and a half hours away, on the way there was this place called Nathdwara. The driver took us near the statue and it became the most memorable part of my trip,” she said.

When asked about the importance of such places in connecting younger generations to spirituality, she emphasized their impact. “Places like these play a very important role. They help the younger generation feel the divine presence and understand spirituality beyond rituals. It is about feeling the energy and finding inner peace,” concludes Devanggana Chauhan.
